Is this art or can it be thrown away?…

The question about one aspect of sustainability is explored by the five-person inclusive team under the direction of Günther Grollitsch with RE_CYCLE. The artists question the value of artistic work and its sustainable effects on today’s creative work. The waste pyramid is interpreted in a cultural-historical context, and recycling and reuse are omnipresent on stage, shaping the development process of the new production. With unaffected interest, the ensemble investigates this material cycle and integrates it into artistic approaches and realisations. In this way, step by step, a poetic-satirical study of our being in a tense time emerges.

TANZBAR_BREMEN is a collective of dancers, choreographers and cultural workers with different skills. At the centre of their work is the strengthening of contemporary dance through an inclusive principle in the joint development, presentation and realisation of dance productions, entertainment, workshop and festival formats as well as educational offers.
