Synergy 2022 -
All Style Dance Battle

SYNERGY is Bremen’s new all-style dance battle. Hosted by Theater Bremen’s dance company, it premiered in 2019 and now returns with its second edition as part of the festival. Urban and contemporary dance styles meet live music of various genres and performative improvisations when dancers from all over Germany and international special guests compete in teams.

In several rounds, they demonstrate their inventiveness and creative use of different movement languages and props. At the end of the day, the jury will select a winning crew and award material and cash prizes.

In addition to dancers from Bremen and beyond who qualify on site, as well as ensemble members and guests from UNUSUAL SYMPTOMS, the field of participants will be enriched by a number of internationally renowned guests from contemporary and urban dance. Among others, Robozee (Flying Steps, GER) and Jimmy Yudat (Yudat Crew, FR) will come to Bremen for SYNERGY 2022. Host: Redchild. DJ: Just-A-Kid.
