In her choreography, Petra Serhal addresses the moments of bodily experience of the individual and the collective that oscillate between intimacy and control. She focuses on power relations within intimate relationships as well as in dance, experimenting with the boundaries of the body through movement and sound. This opens up a new spatial choreographic and sonic experience that questions how our bodies perceive, absorb, relate to, and endure these moments.
