Daggi Dornelles

Daggi Dornelles was born in Brazil, where she studied theater and dance. She worked in São Paulo in the 80s. She moved to Germany in 1989, where she worked for almost 15 years. She developed a movement research at Folkwang Hochschule-Essen, with a grant from the Brazilian Ministry of Culture. She returned to Brazil, in 2003, with an urban art project through the Bolsa VITAE de Artes. Her action for the city, “blank passage – urban poems” has already had a performance trajectory of almost 20 years. She has extensive work as a teacher and choreographer in professional companies, schools, and universities.
