The pack dominates their show business. Smiling like vampires, the vaudeville exhibitionists serve artistic formations. But their revue gets out of hand. Inspired by an installation of Chinese-born artist Cai Guo-Qiang, who had a pack of stuffed wolves jump against a pane of glass, young US choreographer Andrea Miller deals with the mechanisms of human herds. In Wonderland, permanently new orders appear – one who was previously equal to the others is now the leader. Or a loser. Or a member of the pack.

With her most recent work – a European premiere – Andrea Miller is a guest in Germany for the first time. The New Yorker with a Spanish-Jewish background danced with the Israeli Compagnie Batsheva and in 2006 founded the group Gallim Dance. With her idiosyncratic mixture of ballet, burlesque and gaga, she was soon regarded as a shooting star by Dance Magazine.
