Synchronously the Alpha Boys rush into a lounge bar and do their splits. Live drummer Jens Bouttery brings the best out of the men: Hard physical dancing. Reaction. Precision. Energy. These weird guys would do a lot to be liked by their audience. But they secretly dream of dancing the blue bird. They seek expression, empathy and joy. Und come upon stereotypes.  Alcohol.  And Humour – in their search for the metrosexual man of today. 
     
Ten years ago, Guy Weizman and Roni Haver founded the Club Guy & Roni in the Dutch city of Groningen. They combine their raw dance vocabulary – shaped by their time with Batsheva and Wim Vandekeybus  – with exciting interdisciplinary collaborations and have quickly captured audiences at festivals in Barcelona, Rome and Marseille.
