A while ago, a Fleming and a Portuguese toured together through the European theatre landscape with their first piece, presenting something intimate: friendship. Now they question their duet again. What has changed? The intensity of their physical encounter has become even more challenging – and funnier. Still Standing You deals with how two persons can bear and stand each other time and again. The bad boys come upon the most unusual positions to move forward themselves – without abandoning the body of the other.
 
Pieter Ampe danced with Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker and studied at the choreography cradle PARTS in Brussels. Guilherme Garrido danced at the Stadttheater Freiburg and co-curated the dance festival A Fabrica in Porto. They have been producing their own works, at times together, since 2007.
