A white cloud drifts over the floor – surrounded by children who completely immerse in it. Black diagonals cut through the space – limbs of women plumbing directions and turning around. From the depths of the floor playing people suddenly jump up. What kind of medium can dance be for us? How can we simply let ourselves be moved by it? Or use it for our personal development? Or even take pleasure in change? Eighty adults and children of the etage˚ Tanz und Bewegung find different answers.
     
Since 2005, Eva Raquet has been the director of etage˚ Tanz und Bewegung, which offers training for the art of dance movement under aspects beneficial to one’s health. The course offer ranges from contemporary dance to yoga and Pilates, and for children also dance and hip hop.
